Yearend Planning

One of the best ways to reduce your tax bill and, no doubt, the most neglected tool in your toolbox is yearend tax planning.  April 15th is when you report what you have done in the previous year.  November and December is when you do everything you can to reduce the amount of your cash that you must pay to the United States Treasury and the Treasurer, State of Maine for the current year.  Many times you can effectively defer and/or eliminate a portion of your tax liability simply by considering some tax planning before the year is completed.  Call us.
